I work with a flexible and personalized approach, adapting each lesson to your level, goals, musical tastes and learning pace. The idea is to learn in a practical, dynamic and enjoyable way, with a focus on playing and enjoying the bass from the very beginning.
It doesn't matter whether you've never played an instrument before or already have experience: it's never too late to learn bass. Lessons are open to all ages and levels, with content adapted to each student's needs.

I'm Nat González, a bass player and bass teacher in Barcelona. I've been dedicated to music all my life, with more than 25 years of experience in bands, studios and on stage. My goal is to support you throughout your learning journey with a personalized and approachable approach.

What do I need to start bass lessons?+
Very little! If you want to learn to play the bass from scratch, all you need is the desire to learn and to come and try a first lesson. If after the free trial lesson you decide to continue, you can bring your own bass, if you already have one, or use the one I have available for you at the studio. I'll provide you with all the teaching materials needed for the bass lessons, adapted to your level and goals. You don't need any previous experience or music knowledge to start. Whether you're a beginner or already have experience, lessons adapt to you so you can learn and enjoy playing the bass from day one.
Do I need to own a bass to start?+
It's not essential. I have basses available at the studio for lessons. Over time, if you decide to continue, I'll help you choose your own instrument according to your style and budget.
Are the lessons for beginners or advanced players?+
Both. Bass lessons in Barcelona are adapted to all levels, from people who have never played the instrument to experienced bassists who want to keep improving. I work with a flexible, personalised method, adapting each lesson to each student's level, goals and musical tastes. If you're just starting out, you'll learn the bass fundamentals in a practical, progressive way. If you already have experience, we can work on more specific aspects such as technique, groove, rhythm or improvisation. The goal is for every student to progress at their own pace and, above all, enjoy playing the bass, whatever their starting level.

Location
If you're looking for bass lessons in Barcelona or the surrounding metropolitan area, don't hesitate to get in touch! The studio is located inside the Bandasonora building, opposite Verneda Metro station (L2), close to Poblenou, El Clot, Sant Martí, Sant Andreu and La Sagrera, and less than 20 minutes from Sagrada Família, Guinardó and Horta. There is free parking right outside.
If you're coming from Vallès or Maresme (Badalona, Santa Coloma, Montgat or El Masnou), the building is next to Exit 29 of the Ronda del Litoral (B-20). If you're coming by bike, you can lock it outside or bring it into the studio without any problem.
